Harbour Watch to shuttle to Australia
Harbour Watch will shuttle to Emirates Park in Australia for the Southern Hemisphere stud season.

The best bred and highest rated two-year-old son of Acclamation, Harbour Watch, has been well received in his first season with a full first book of quality mares.

At Emirates Park he will stand for $9,900, and he will join fellow shuttler Dream Ahead.

From the brilliant family of Dubai Millennium, Harbour Watch is also a half-brother to Europa Point, a dual Group 1 winner in South Africa by Rock Of Gibraltar.  His third dam is the Gr.1 Matron Stakes winner and exceptional broodmare Fall Aspen.

An end of an era
It was a very sad day at Tweenhills today with Lady Rebecca having to be put to sleep due to colic at the age of 21.  She had been in the family here for 20 years and will be very much missed.

Spotted as a potential star at DBS sales as a yearling, David paid the minimum bid of 400gns to buy her. She spent the next three years at Tweenhills growing and maturing, and was broken in as a three-year-old at the stud before being syndicated between the Kinnersley Optimists at Simon Christian's Kinnersley yard. David and his mother retained a 30% share in the filly.

She ran once for Simon finishing second in a NH flat race before he retired and the filly was moved to local trainer Venetia Williams.

What she achieved on the racecourse over the next four years has become legend - winning no fewer than 13 of her 19 starts and in excess of £160,000, including three consecutive Grade 1 Cleeve hurdles - she became a National favourite.

'Rebecca' never managed to win at the Festival, due on two occasions to badly interrupted preparations, but still won 7 races at the home of National Hunt racing.
She retired as a broodmare to Tweenhills Farm & Stud in 2001, as her connections did not want to risk her over fences.

David Redvers said: "She kick-started my career and Venetia Williams.  She was such a phenomenal Cinderella story, having cost so little, and proved it's not the size of the cheque but the size of the heart that matters.

"The Kinnersley Optimists still own one of her daughters and we have a couple of others on the ground here, so she has a legacy to leave behind.

"For all the thousands of horses I've had through my hands, I don't think there will be another who holds quite such a place."
